Photography Styling Challenge
When I saw the beautiful pictures taken by Namrata, here for the photography challenge I had a light bulb moment. I liked the idea of a Photography Styling Challenge and the theme – light. As food bloggers, we are constantly trying to get good pictures. I thought this would be a chance to explore and experiment and improve my photos. This challenge was created by redesignedbym and this is the 10th episode. I came to know about it quite late, but decided to join the fun.
This is the light I see looking out of my window at night. The rain drops on my window pane catching and reflecting our street light was like a firework display.
As we are stepping into Spring, a play of light enthralls us with its life giving touch. I waited for the evening rays to capture some pictures. It was magical…some ordinary things turned into unnoticed raw beauties.
A bunch of Hydrangea left dry by the winter was in partial light and some flowers that caught the light looked interesting.
Life inducing light. Finally buds decided to appear on those bare frozen stems.
Shadows accompany light and they are distinct in the declining evening light. This maple tree has a few more leaves to shed before it starts a new life.
Light enters my kitchen at different angles in the course of the day. I love to watch it changing position and its blinding glare at midday.
I was totally amazed to see how light changes the appearance of insignificant things and gives them new perspective. I was thrilled to get out and shoot some of these.

Welcome!!!!! Thank you for the mention and am so happy you joined this monthly challenge. I love your pictures. 1, 3 and 5 are simply beautiful. I love the way light falls and the angles you have captured. Excellent job! Apart from photographing food, this activity challenges you to think and be creative in other aspects as well. It’s a wonderful exercise with our cameras. I am sure you will enjoy the experience here. Welcome again 🙂
