Ooey-gooey breakfast choice!
I go bonkers if I skip my breakfast. Nothing serious…but would talk to myself, a lot…forget the names of people around or open cupboards and stare at the contents not realizing what I am looking for. One sure cure for this disorder is a breakfast porridge!
Porridge is a quick fix for the morning rush as there is no need to chew the food like some hardy granola clusters or in-your-face cereal bars. This is one of those guilt free food that I love after festive over-indulgences. Oats porridge can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for those… lazy…no cooking days, hungry like a monster days or eat some goop days.
My husband leaves to work very early when all the birds are still asleep. As I wake up way after the feathered friends and do not cook up a storm in the morning, the chances of an elegant breakfast on weekdays is rare. So he carries this almost regularly for the first meal of the day. I totally approve it, as his poor heart is getting weary of all the fat and meat. This is a very low fat and low cholesterol goody. I secretly wonder that he has the guts for this gummy ordeal!
I am not a big fan of this gooey porridge but I prefer it on a very health conscious day to team with the wholesome, robust people.

Add chocolate balls if they can tempt you. Just indulge in the sticky pleasure merely for it’s feel good factor.
